Stephen Chenault

Stephen Chenault (1967-*) was born in Monticello, Arkansas. As his father was an active duty officer in the U.S. Army Stephen grew up on Army Posts, from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to Heidelberg, Germany. Stephen attended undergraduate school at Arkansas State University where he received a BA in History. A three year stint in the U.S. Army followed (1991-1993) after which he returned to Arkansas and received his Masters Degree in European History with an emphasis on the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He co-founded Troll Lord Games in 1999 and took over the helm as CEO in 2003 when the company was reorganized as Chenault & Gray Publishing. During his tenure he worked closely with Gary Gygax, James M. Ward and other pioneers in the RPG field. He has remained at the helm of the company since. He has written and designed material for the Castles & Crusades RPG, world of Aihrde and Dungeons and Dragons. He has also published fantasy fiction with a focus on the world of Aihrde.
