David M. Bignell

David M. Bignell was born in central Wisconsin and raised in Westfield Wisconsin. His father is a high school teacher and mother an animal sitter. He is a middle child in a family of all boys and the only one who became a lover of stories and books like his father.

Dave has had a varied carrier starting as a factory worker where he worked his way up to a quality control associate become becoming a Real-estate broker. Finding that he wasn't cut out for the dog eat dog life in real-estate sales, he went back to factory work as a glass maker. Then he went to work as a landscape foreman three years later. Dave found a love of working with his hands a creating wonderful landscapes. His favorite being the custom water landscapes. When the economy went bust he went to work for the state as an officer or corrections where he remains today. This last line of work not feeding his soul but only his pocket, Dave started working on stories that had been swimming around in his head to fill that void. The works that have come out of that so far are Demons of the Past, Ryder, and Rebuilding home. Each a different kind of story but all written in his Midwestern style. He has many more still in progress.

After self publishing with a company his first book Demons of the Past, Dave realized that there was much to learn about this publishing game and started to study. Taking what he learned he started DM Publishing to publish his own works and help others get their first book to marker as reasonable as possible while helping them past all the mistakes he made.
