Ben Torres began his design career as a comic book illustrator which blossomed into his remarkable career at the multinational conglomerate Hasbro Entertainment. Ben was a designer on many high profile brands such as Star Wars, GI Joe, Batman, Pokemon, Aliens, Monsters Inc, among others. In addition Ben served as creative consultant on various television series such as GI Joe and Transformers. During this period he contributed concept designs and story content for various movies such as Star Wars, Men In Black and Jurassic Park.
As Senior Product Development Manager at The Bradford Exchange, he was a key member in the successful launch of the Bradford Authenticated division, developing high-end product lines for the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL.
Ben was also creative director for the Hong Kong based Creative Design LTD. directing the design division in creative strategy, art asset creation and product development for major retailers such as Target, Wal-mart, and Macy's among others.
Over the last few years his focus has included creating art assets, advertisements and product lines for licensed properties for companies like Disney, Proctor and Gamble, AT&T, Hasbro, Mattel, Nickelodeon, WWE, Discovery Kids, etc., among others.
In his spare time Ben has illustrated for Marvel Comics including Daredevil and the Kingpin: Born Against mini-series as well as working with acclaimed writers such as Gary Carlson and Chris Ecker on the Knight Watchman miniseries in addition to Roger McKenzie and Mort Todd on Charlton Arrow's Yang and Deathwatch.
