Alan Phillip

Alan Phillip, C.P., was born and grew up in Chicago, IL. He joined the Passionist religious order in 1960 and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1967. He has served in parishes in Chicago, IL, and Louisville, KY, and has also conducted many retreats and parish missions. He currently resides and works at Mater Dolorosa Retreat Center in Sierra Madre, CA, and assists at parishes in the Los Angeles, CA, area. He is a member of the Association of Christian Therapists (ACTheals).

His hobbies include photography and singing, and he is a lifelong (long-suffering) Cubs fan.

He is the author of “Our Hearts at Sunday Mass” and “From Blues to Smiles to Joy.” He is presently working on a book titled, “Ten Things You Must Do Before You Die” -- the Ultimate Bucket List.
