Rich Finzer

During a writing career spanning over 45 years, I've worked as a newspaper reporter, newspaper editor, technical writer, freelancer and now book author. I've written thousands of pages of technical documentation for firms such as IBM, Bristol-Myers Squibb and National Grid. As a freelancer, I've earned over 1200 paid writing credits and 300+ photo credits. My essays, magazine articles and photos have appeared in 19 regionally and nationally distributed publications. In May 2013, my book "Maple on Tap" earned the Benjamin Franklin gold medal awarded by the Independent Book Publishers Association.

I've recently completed my third novel entitled "Dawn Toward Daylight". And as a fan of both happy endings and new beginnings, the novel is the perfect segue to "Julie & Me".

In my spare time I enjoy making maple syrup, sailing and on occasion have been known to partake of a wee glass of "Oh Be Joyful". I cannot however abide the taste of peas!
