Carey Wickersham

When Carey was pregnant with her son, she paid 100 dollars for a 3-D ultrasound at Prenatal Imaging Centers in Kansas City. Personality and preferences leaped off the screen as she watched her 28 week old baby twist and turn and wave and blink. It was an awe-filled moment that changed her life. Now she combines her passion for story telling with her life-long adoration of babies. The same sonographer that imaged her baby (Jeanette Burlbaw), collected dozens of ultrasound videos and images for The Wonder Within You.

Carey Wickersham is a journalist at WDAF-TV in Kansas City. She loves a good story. In 14 years as a television anchor and reporter, she has told thousands to viewers and friends alike.

Carey has also worked at TV stations in South Dakota, Idaho and Arizona. Her father, Dave Wickersham is a former major league baseball pitcher.

Carey is a certified water fitness instructor. She loves to bike and read and spend time with her husband and two children. She also cuddles almost any baby whose mother will allow it.
