Phoebe Taubman

Phoebe Taubman is a Senior Staff Attorney with A Better Balance, where she works to combat discrimination and advance family-friendly public policies at the local, state and federal levels. She is a co-author of Babygate: Surviving Pregnancy and Parenting in the American Workplace (Feminist Press, 2014), a comprehensive guide for expecting and new parents about their workplace rights. Prior to joining A Better Balance, Phoebe clerked for the Honorable Faith S. Hochberg in the District Court for the District of New Jersey in Newark, and worked as a litigation associate at the firm of Mayer Brown in New York City. She is a graduate of Harvard University and Georgetown University Law Center, and is the mother of two small children.
