Ulrike Bergmann

I was born in Munich and grew up in Upper Bavaria/Germany. My life includes regular moves between the Bavarian state capital and the surrounding area as well as several years abroad (Portugal, Canada, USA). Today I live close to the mountains at lake Chiemsee in Upper Bavaria.

Since 1993 I have been accompanying and encouraging women who follow their dreams and to realize their ideas of a fulfilled and balanced life. As a spiritual mid-wife, I support them to give birth to larger ideas in their own way and to find ways and means to achieve success on their own terms. In my work, I build on and trust my many years of experience as a solo entrepreneur and dream realizer.

After graduating from Law School, I gained 14 years of experience in an international company for which I worked in Germany and abroad. Very quickly I climbed the career ladder - and eventually reached my limits. In 1989, I had to take a longer break due to illness, which made me rethink my life path and to give my life a different direction.

Three years passed before I found the courage to quit. I went to the United States, where I learned a lot about creating and fulfilling dreams and visions - my own and others'. These experiences and the associated knowledge became the basis of my self-employment and the foundation of my work as a consultant, teacher and author after my return to Germany in the summer of 1995.

For decades now, writing has been a means of self-expression and a source of inspiration for me. Today it is an important part of my work.

My first book was published in 1998, followed by two more guidebooks before I took an 11-year break from book-writing.

In 2008, I started my blog, the "Mutmacher-Magazin”, which ten years later became part of my website. In it, you will find suggestions, examples and tools that encourage women to discover their dreams and develop the courage to realize them on their own terms with ease and clarity.

In spring 2014, my fourth book "Mit Leichtigkeit zum Ziel" (Reaching Goals With Ease, available in English) was published. It was followed in December 2021 by "Wandel. Zeichen der Zeit in Texten und Bildern" - a collaborative work with my poems and illustrations by Ilka Piechotta.
