Lel Bevan grew up in West Wales in the UK. She loved writing from an early age- from fantasy stories with daring quests to soppy poetry and masses of letters - some even to the Queen and the Prime Minister- using ridiculous pseudonyms too silly to repeat here.
Lel is also a primary teacher, now living in Wiltshire, England. When not writing Lel enjoys reading epic adventure stories like Phillip Pullman's 'Dark Materials Trilogy' the magical Harry Potter books and any Paul Stewart & Chris Riddell adventures! She also loves walking her dog and inventing silly characters to roleplay with her two young children. (Mr Montgomery Petula is their favourite).
Lel first had the idea for the 'White Ennox' when out walking in the woods; she came across a narrow lane and growing curious to see where it might lead, she followed it until... she came to a strange sign inscribed 'White Ennox'. Lel wondered what it could mean and so the story began.
Lel is currently working on the next book in the White Ennox Trilogy which should hopefully be available soon!
