I was born in Congo in 1965, premature and disabled. I am a younger twin. Returning to Scotland in 1972, I spent eight years at boarding school, before qualifying and working as a lawyer for ten years. 'Trapped: My Life With Cerebral Palsy' is my true story (Skyhorse Publishing). I live in Scotland with my husband and daughter. In my spare time I read, swim, ride a lovely horse called Mr Bob, sing in the shower and dance where no-one can see me.
'Happiness Matters' and my third book, 'Making Miracles' share simple techniques to help us all live happier and more meaningful lives.
I am writing a series of three novels about womens' experiences in the law, the first two of which, 'Lisa Somerville: Lessons in Love' and 'The Seduction of Susan Scott' are complete.
