Savannah Black

Savannah has been writing for more than 20 years. She is driven to let the story pour out of her like water from the tap. Usually the story writes itself as do most characters, no matter how much she wants to steer them. Born outside of a small mining town in southern West Virginia she grew up poor, as far as money goes, but she was rich in imagination.

She got the writing bug at age 12 and tried over the years to write, but it took years of living and experiencing life in many facets, before she had the grist for the mill that it took to excite the muse in her. Once she started writing, she has not stopped.

She has moved around, living in multiple cities, towns and on ranches and ended up in Central Florida several years ago. She fell in love with the Gulf of Mexico and the endless shorelines of the state. Finally she got a sailboat of her own and after extensive rebuilding, began living aboard. She now lives in Tampa Fl. on the boat with her significant other, her dog and cat.

My Coauthor, Wil Collins grew up similarly to me and in the same environment. He brings a depth to our books that I could not produce solely on my own. He is the photogenic, one so I have included him in the photo section. I myself am a bit of a recluse and shun cameras.
