Alesa Teague

Alesa and her twin were born in a small town in the wilds of Wyoming where antelope outnumber people 1,000 to 1. As a young girl, she enjoyed writing everyday. In fact, she won a Young Author's Award in middle school and was published in the Lander, Wyoming paper. Along her path to adulthood, she gave up dreams of writing creatively to pursue the corporate dream. After stepping into the fast-paced telecommunications world; where she wrote technical publications, the dot-com bubble burst. She jumped into another hot market: real estate. We all know what happened there! That is when she decided owning a coffee shop, and becoming her own boss, could be really awesome. During that venture, she earned her 200-hour Yoga Teaching license in the jungles of Costa Rica where she met many incredible souls; each with a story to tell. A few months ago she submitted The Long Road Home, her first book, into a Writer's Digest contest and received an outstanding review from Writer's Digest Judge #22, who gave her 4.6 stars out of 5. Well, of course she is now authoring her second book. Alesa is also busy raising her teenage daughter with much sarcastic humor and hoping she turns out relatively unscathed, as a result. Inspiring through action, she travels and writes about either her journey or those people that she meets along the way who touch her heart.
