Miranda Gargasz

Miranda Gargasz is a freelance writer from northeast Ohio. Many of her essays can be found on sites like ScaryMommy, "The Christian Science Monitor" and "The Huffington Post."

In 2014, she published "Lemonade and Holy Stuff," a collection of personal essays. In 2016, she published "Plus Size Mama: An overweight mom gets real about weight loss," a memoir about her struggles with an endocrine disorder that affects 1 in 10 women, and most never know they have.

Her debut novel, "Haunting Suspicion," sold out within the first hour of her author signing at Barnes & Noble. Her current novel, "Dragonfly," hits the shelves October 29, 2019. The sequel to "Haunting Suspicion," entitled "Haunting Grounds" will be published in Spring 2020.

She lives with her husband, one teenage son, and two dogs (one who has no idea what personal space is, and the other who bays when the wind blows).
