Craig G. Metts

Trained as a documentary filmmaker, Craig was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. His education includes Bachelor Degrees in US History and Media Arts, and a Master’s degree in film production from USC. He lives in the greater Columbia area and enjoys traveling with his wife and two sons. A professed lover of exotic foods, he also enjoys smoking vintage cigars and listening to a wide variety of music.

He has written two South Carolina based books, Grave Words, Epitaphs of South Carolina, and The Great Sea Islands Hurricane & Tidal Wave; a Storm of Politics and Charity During the Jim Crow Era. Past film credits include working under legendary Chinese film Director Wu Tianming. Writing credits include articles about Ernest Hemingway in Cuba for Where Magazine and four feature length scripts, including A Soldier's Heart, a Civil War epic and finalist in the prestigious Chesterfield Film Company's Writers Fellowship.
