Margaret B. Smith, founder of UXL, a coaching and consulting firm focused on helping individuals achieve their career goals and organizations reach their full potential. Her clients come from varied industries and functions but have a common desire to assess their skills, identify their attributes and develop a plan for leveraging both in order to deliver value to their businesses. Margaret pulls from her training and extensive experiences to bring out their best.

As a retired 3M director, she spent 33 years in business management and leadership development. Her broad experiences include leading

•regional sales forces of 100+. to exceed all forecasts and expectations,

•new product introduction teams with customer driven ideation,

•the sales and marketing integration of an acquisition ,

•global marketing teams to create a market focused efforts in key regions of the world,

•the creation of new businesses that generated millions of dollars in new revenue for both 3M and customers,

In addition to her responsibilities in leading business teams Margaret worked on behalf of 3M at various universities creating course work that developed sales competencies identified as critical to future success.

Margaret is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Saint Catherine where she is also an adjunct professor in the Center for Sales Innovation. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, completed coaches training with Coaches Training Institute and is a licensed practitioner for Insights Discovery.
