Cassie Cooper has been telling stories since childhood, when she bound whatever scraps of paper she could find into books about princesses and unicorns. She went on to study creative writing in college, determined to learn everything she could about storytelling.

Nowadays, she writes character-driven stories in whatever genre her characters tell her to—mostly young adult fiction and contemporary romance, sometimes with a touch of the supernatural.

Cassie lives in Florida with her husband, three kids, and a morkie. When she isn’t writing, she's usually outside examining cool bugs and plants.
