John McBlain

John Harris was born in 1959 on a small farm in Northamptonshire. He first became interested in the Hess affair in the late 1980's. Some simple genealogical research discovered the true identity of Mary Roberts in 1992 and since that time he and Richard Wilbourn have been researching the affair.

Mixing their practical backgrounds (John farms and Richard manages 3000 acres in Norfolk) with dogged research has put them in a good position to objectively analyse the 1941 flight.
