Debora Nary

Deb Nary has enjoyed a rich and varied professional life as an educator. She has served as a classroom teacher, a reading/writing specialist, a literacy facilitator, and an instructor at the university level. Deb taught kindergarten through fourth grades in a variety of Schools in New Hampshire Schools for more than 25 years.

Currently, Deb is a Literacy Facilitator working with curriculum coordinators, intervention specialists, classroom teachers and children in classrooms to support the implementation of reading and writing curriculum and best practices in literacy instruction in the Dover, NH Elementary Schools.

Deb is an active member in professional organizations including the International Reading Association, and the Association and Supervision of Curriculum and Development. She is a frequent presenter at conferences sponsored by these organizations. Her research and writing focuses on literacy instruction and learning and things she learns from teachers and children in classrooms.
