Mary Ann Bumbera

Mary Ann's interest in writing began with children's books. It was her love for her dog, Charlie, that took her writing in a different direction - a memoir memorializing how, because of Charlie, she discovered a true meaning of death and in the process, discovered profound truths about life. As an Animal Intuitive, Reiki Master and Shamanic Practitioner, Mary Ann has assisted people and animals in achieving balance and wholeness in their lives. She divides her time between her farm in North Carolina (where she has dogs, cats and horses) and her business in Chicago.
