Louise Walters

I'm Louise Walters: independent author and publisher, and freelance editor, working from my home in rural Northamptonshire, in England. I write and publish literary novels that are readable, emotionally-intelligent, and realist. I like to write about women, relationships, motherhood, love, betrayal, tragedy, revenge, and the search for happiness - life, basically!

I don't really "do" tropes... I prefer to both read and write a cracking good story with emotional depth and characters who stay with you long after you have closed the book on the final page.

I have been publishing my titles since 2017 via my indie press Louise Walters Books, and I love both the creative freedom and creative responsibility that comes with that. I hope you enjoy my work.
