Christine Perry is an award-winning blogger, author and "sock-knitting enabler", encouraging thousands of people around the world to discover that knitting socks is a fabulous way to improve your well-being and your wardrobe at the same time.

Through her blog, Winwick Mum (www.winwickmum.co.uk), she has set up a Sockalong to bring together beginner sock knitters and guide them through the process. Her book, "Super Socks", publishes the blog tutorials together in both print and Kindle formats for the first time so that anyone can learn how to knit socks - it's much easier than you think!

"Your Book, Your Story - Mermaid Adventure" is Christine's first book and nothing at all to do with socks - it's an interactive story for children aged 4-9, allowing them to choose the direction that the adventure takes. She has loved watching her own children try out the books, finding that they have become much more involved with the story as they dictate the action. She's hoping that her children will move onto sock tutorial books very soon ...
