Life for me began in Bronx, New York. I spent most of my childhood in New York. When I was about 10 years old, my family moved to Connecticut. Growing up I loved reading. I read anything I could get my hands on. However, I had a great love for books with great adventures and amazing rhymes. My love for reading was shared with my love for sports. I had a passion for soccer and basketball. I would play soccer and basketball as much as I could and watch my favorite teams on T.V. I still enjoy kicking the soccer ball around and shooting some baskets with my free time as well as keeping up with some teams. I attended Hamden High School in Connecticut and graduated in 2010. Throughout high school I received academic awards for writing.

After graduating high school, I started my university journey at the University of Connecticut. There I pursued a degree in pharmacy. Quickly realizing pharmacy and science was not the route for me in life, I decided to change my university experience all together. I changed my major to business as well as transferring to Southern Connecticut State University. Currently at SCSU I am still pursuing a degree in business. However, almost two years ago I came to the realization my true passion was writing.

On my free time I could easily make up quick, short, entertaining stories. I have a notebook full of various, interesting stories. After a while of fooling around with different writing styles, I noticed something. Writing was something I loved to do, something that gave great satisfaction to me. At that point, I knew a writing career was something I wanted to pursue. Writing became more important to me than playing and watching my two favorite sports.

Switching majors a 3rd time would have been a hassle, so I decided to finish with a degree in business. However, I knew for sure I would be spending the rest of my life writing. With my experience in writing, writing children’s books is where I see myself excelling the most. I have miraculous imagination, which I see as a bonus in writing adventurous stories. Dr Seuss and his children stories are the reason why I wrote my first book. I believe Dr Seuss is one of the most talented children’s authors.

In early 2014, I self published my first children’s book, Rainboy Full of Joy. Seeing the way my nieces, nephews, friends, and family enjoy this book, I want everyone around the world to enjoy it as well. I will be writing more creative, adventurous books for children to enjoy at school and home.
