Andy McKell

Born in Bradford, England, Andy settled in Luxembourg in 1981, where he married and has three lovely and talented daughters.

Andy was abducted by American science fiction pulp magazines in his teens. Soon he was mainlining Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke and the whole author alphabet via Tolkien through to Zelazny — those long-gone heroes of 20th-century science fiction.

After graduating, he worked in marketing, franchising and computing in London and Luxembourg before launching his own web design company. In 2011, he sold the company and retired early to write, travel and act (several stage and movie credits).

Andy's novels are mainly science fiction, though his short stories cover a wide range of genres. He also started a 1950's LA detective noir series.
