Karen Loutzenhiser

Karen Loutzenhiser is a long time homeschooling mom of four kids who writes the Layers of Learning homeschool curriculum and materials with her sister, Michelle Copher. She has a bachelors degree in education from Brigham Young University. She was born and raised in Washington State, married her sweetheart in 1999, and is now the happy mom of two boys and two girls. She lives in Utah where she has been a founding member of a charter school, serves on the board of her local library, and goes all out for every holiday.
