G. K. Holcomb

Gary Edward Holcomb is Professor of African American Literature and Studies, Department of African American Studies, Ohio University. He is the author of Claude McKay, Code Name Sasha: Queer Black Marxism and the Harlem Renaissance (2007), Hemingway and the Black Renaissance (2012), Teaching Hemingway and Race (2018), and with William J. Maxwell co-editor of Claude McKay’s circa 1933 novel, Romance in Marseille (Penguin Random House, 2020). With Brooks Hefner, he is currently the McKay letters for Columbia UP.
