Johanna Stein

Johanna Stein is an Emmy-nominated writer/director/comedian/forward/slash/overuser whose work has been seen in The NY Times, Parents Magazine, CBS, NBC, Comedy Central, Disney, PBS, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Hulu, and all over the Worldwide Internets.

Johanna has acted in movies (including “Mulholland Drive”), wrote a bestselling book about parenthood (“How Not to Calm a Child on a Plane (and Other Lessons in Parenting from a Highly Questionable Source)”), written and directed commercials (including an award-winning series of comedic PSA’s about sexual assault (“It’s Illogical”)… and she once went viral for sticking a camera to her head and filming all the insulting things her 4-year-old said to her in a typical day (see “MomHead”).

Johanna lives in Los Angeles with her husband, their daughter, and a 12-pound dog who once ate a couch.
