Jacqueline Varnedoe

Jacqueline Varnedoe carries a prophetic mantel and anointing to challenge God’s people with the truth and to manifest the grace to do what the Bible says they can do. In her latest book, JOY CARRIERS, Jacqueline ignites a passion in her readers to discover the true joy of the Lord in their daily walk and then to inject that joy into the lives of others. This can only be accomplished by walking intimately in His presence day by day.

JOY CARRIERS is a great sequel to Jacqueline’s first book, Come Walk With Me, in which she stirred a greater hunger in God’s people for intimacy and passion for the Lord. She believes that God’s army of believers must be prepared to maintain spiritual intimacy, love and joy in the midst of difficulties, persecution, and disappointment.

In 1995, Jacqueline founded and taught a three-part series of prophetic schools at New Covenant in Thomasville, Georgia and at other churches in the area. In the ensuing years, many people have been motivated and energized in their gifts by attending these schools.

Jacqueline and her husband, Heeth Varnedoe III, founded the ministry, Calling to Excellence, to help equip, train, and activate the saints in their gifts and callings.

Jacqueline Ponder married Heeth Varnedoe III in 1960 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Jacqueline was ordained into ministry with Christian International (CI) in 1996 and received her Master’s in Biblical Studies with CI in 1999. Jacqueline and Heeth serve on the Board of Governors of CI.

Jacqueline and Heeth are aligned with Glory of Zion International in Corinth, TX and have been commissioned under Apostle Chuck D. Pierce to lead a House of Zion in their home in Thomasville, Georgia.
