David Crocker

Born and raised in the St. John's of the 1940's, lived less than a mile from Lester's Field where International transcontinental air travel got its start. Graduate of Dalhousie University with a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. Worked as an Aircraft Structures Engineer in Aircraft Industry and Governments for over forty years (1960 to 2003). Specializing in structural design, stress analysis, metal fatigue, fracture mechanics and aircraft structural integrity programs. Currently retired with an interest in all aspects of aviation. Other interests:- Recreation Flying, and writing, The first rule that I follow in my writing is, to write about things that I am passionate about. Secondly, there are no other rules. Shortly after I embarked on my first novel I consulted a website that boosted that it could accurately predict the potential market for any new book. Shortly after I submitted my subject they came back with their prediction, if everyone interested in the subject bought a copy of my book, I would sell 2 dozen books.With that piece of information in mind, we decided to press on and follow RULE #1.
