I'm a writer living and working in Santa Barbara, California. I've been a columnist for BeerAdvocate Magazine, and I'm currently a sportswriter and beer columnist for the Santa Barbara News-Press daily newspaper.

I write about sports and beer, but I enjoy reading a wide range of topics from sports and beer to other creative non-fiction, fiction and poetry.
