Devi Anderson Anton

From her early years, Devi Anderson Anton has created and illustrated stories. She studied drawing, design and painting, then earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from the University of California, Los Angeles. After freelancing, she landed her first full-time artist position and quickly became art director for the periodicals The Rangefinder, Photo Lab Management and The Wedding Photographer. Utilizing her editorial skills, she became the senior editor for a national dog fanciers' magazine. Her work has appeared in Highlights for Children, and she illustrated the cover of Shadow Trap as well as The Wish Twister. Recently she was a panelist on the "Thrillers and Killers" mystery panel at the Palos Verdes Local Authors' Faire. She participated in Mysterious Galaxy's Local Authors' Meet & Greet, and looks forward to upcoming local author events. She is working on her next Nick Faraday mystery, as well as the next Finn Grant adventure/mystery/fantasy for middle-grade readers.

She is a member of Mystery Writers of America, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Independent Book Marketing Group and Southwest Manuscripters.
