Rahmat Ellahi

Dr. Rahmat Ellahi is the founder Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at IIUI, Pakistan. He has several awards and honors on his credit: Fulbright Fellow, Productive Scientist of Pakistan, Best University Teacher Award by higher education commission (HEC) Pakistan, Best Book Award, Valued Reviewer Award by Elsevier and highly cited paper award by Taylor & Francis Group. He is also the author of six books and editor of 05 international journals. He has published 79 research papers in international journals. His work has been cited round about 400 times at international level. Impact factor of his research articles is more than 100. He is on the review panel of 87 international journals published in USA, UK, Canada and Germany for reviewing the research papers. He is an approved supervisor for MS/M.Phil and PhD students by HEC. He has produced 03 Phds and 10 research students at M. Phil/MS level. He has completed a number of HEC research projects under NRUP. He has established international collaboration with 16 prominent scientists of his field. Keeping in view his academic achievements, The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan honored him with Fulbright Scholar Award for the year 2011-12. Being Fulbright Fellow he has completed his post doctorate from the University of California USA.
