Carolyn Ferrell Watts

During her career in school psychology, it became obvious to the author that help for children with behavior, learning or emotional difficulties must include family counseling. Her first book focuses on parenting during children's first six years. Magical Years To Learn With Liam is designed to teach both listener and reader as it is read to a child. She is currently working on a book for parents and counselors of elementary school children.

Carolyn Ferrell Watts is licensed as a professional counselor, specialist in school psychology and psychological associate. She received her Master of Arts Degree in School Psychology from Sam Houston State University. She is also a certified Imago Relationship counselor and EMDR practitioner who specializes in parenting workshops, child and family therapy as well as in treating post traumatic stress disorder.

Ms. Watts resides in her native Texas Gulf Coast area with her husband, Larry Watts, a labor relations consultant and author of crime and social justice novels. When not writing or having friendly debates over reducing crime by focusing on funding education versus the criminal justice system, they share interests music, movies, cycling, football and enjoying their blended family that now includes great grandchildren.
