Fee O'Shea

Fee O’Shea is passionate about both veganism and pastel painting, using her expertise to inform, teach, and inspire others. After adopting a vegetarian lifestyle in the 90s, she transitioned to veganism upon learning about the realities of factory farming, particularly in New Zealand. Her journey led her to embrace a whole food, plant-based diet, which she shares through her books, blog, and speaking engagements.

Alongside her work in vegan advocacy, Fee is an accomplished pastel artist. She loves the vibrancy, immediacy, and hands-on nature of pastels, allowing her to create with both precision and spontaneity. Though they can be messy, she finds their versatility unmatched. Whether writing about plant-based living or creating art, Fee’s mission remains the same—helping others explore new possibilities.

She has three children and seven grandchildren, all of whom share her love for creativity, good food, and a deep respect for animals and the planet.
