Denise Kugler

My name is Denise Kugler and I'm a political enthusiast(sounds better than a junkie). I became involved with politics during the 2012 election. It scared me to death that our elections can now be bought because of Citizen's United. Our whole democracy is in jeopardy of being privatized.

I'm a retired teacher who loves grammar, english, and reading. So I wrote a book. My book is a dictionary type book with pictures, facts, synonyms, and definitions of 80 political people.

My friend Toby and I wrote the book together. She is the computer guru and I am the writer. Toby and I have known each other since we were 16. We are both 65, so longer than a minute. I'm a definite "A" personality while she is a "B". That's why we've been able to stay friends all these years.

We share a political point of view. We talk politics every day. We are life-long democrats who believe in justice for all(like superman). I believe we have captured the essence of 80 people who are involved in today's politics.

Our book is factual, yet funny in parts. You have to have a sense of humor today with all the goings on.
