Dylan Kinnett is a writer and spoken word performance artist. His writing alters traditional literary forms using media, hypertext, and performance. Lately, Kinnett has published two plays in the anthology, American Theatre in the Twenty-First Century (Future Publishing House.)
His chapbook, Litanies and Reiterations, experiments with repetition, ritual, frustration, and futility. Kinnett was selected for the 23rd Annual Critics’ Residency program, at the Maryland Art Place. His work has been published or performed by Otoliths, University of Baltimore, Annex Theater, Artscape, and others. Kinnett’s multimedia works include the book with digital insert An Internet (with Ink Press Productions,) a haiku projected on an LED billboard in Baltimore, What's The Catch? (spoken word performance with an array of analogue telephones), To Win Simply Play (a hypertext novella), and Strange Punctuation (a spoken word album). Raised in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, Kinnett lives in Baltimore.
