Lizzie Harris was born in southern Arizona and raised in Pennsylvania. Her poems appear in The Carolina Quarterly, Barrow Street, Painted Bride Quarterly, Phantom Limb, and VICE.com. She holds degrees from University of Pittsburgh and New York University, where she taught undergraduate creative writing and led a workshop for veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. She’s a poetry editor for Bodega Magazine, and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
