I began writing back in the early 2000's when I became a dad for the first time. I studied emotional literacy and the "science of emotional wellbeing" for years, and sharing what I had learned with my son's when they were little was paramount in my life, so my first book was called An Exercise in Happiness (3rd to 5th grade reading level). Fast forward almost 30 years, and I finally decided to write fiction, but I was unsure what to write, then it came to me. "Undue Influence" was born from my own journey through the complex and often painful world of inheritance disputes and family manipulation. So I decided to "share my experience" without actually sharing my experience. I began ghostwriting fiction novels a a few years ago when I became obsessed with the level of corruption by those in positions of leadership, at the expense of society's most vulnerable, which led to "UnAlived". A purely fiction novel, yet the parallels to current reality are unmistakable. This fictional story takes place in a world where the wealthy and powerful escape justice, until one person decides to bring retribution directly to them—and broadcast it for millions to watch. A vigilante brings justice to the corrupt elite—one livestream at a time. When the powerful prey on the vulnerable, someone is watching. And the world is tuning in. But society is now forced to confront uncomfortable questions about justice, accountability, and the true cost of change.
