Verna MacKay

Verna was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica in the West Indies. Verna attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn N.Y. and SUNY college at Brockport New York. Verna is the Author of the following books, Jesus Christ God's Gift of Love Our Love Our Hope Of Salvation. Prayer And Praise From Earth To Heaven, and God's Amazing Grace. The books have received good feedbacks from those who have read them. There are written and verbal comments such as, “I love this book, I can’t put it down, this is a good book, etc. Verna has written several articles on various topics.

Verna enjoys the outdoors, and going for nature walks. She prefers the use of natural remedies instead of prescription drugs, and believes that it is better to prevent a disease, than to cure it, after it has developed.

Verna has dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She writes Southern style gospel songs, and some with a Caribbean beat. Verna enjoys singing, playing the piano, the organ and the guitar.

Verna is the mother of identical twin daughters, Samantha and Andrea Small. Verna remembers that her husband washed the same babies face twice. Samantha and Andrea like playing tricks on their teachers, friends, and others. Both daughters majored in Computer Animation, and graduated with a degree in that field.
