Marti Regan

Marti Regan lives with her husband in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, along with her dog, cat and horses.

Before moving to the mountains, Marti worked at NASA and National Institutes of Health in Maryland. Rather than retire, she "rewired" and now combines several of her loves—writing, children and animals. Marti is the author of several children’s books.

DOGS OF A DIFFERENT COLLAR, an engaging novel for 8-12 year-olds, is about parallel lives of two puppy siblings, and the girls who adopt them.

LAZY DAISY, THE LOVE DOG, a picture book for 4-7 year-olds, is about a laid-back puppy that everyone calls lazy. The notion that we are all good at something is realized when the calm puppy becomes a beloved therapy dog at a hospital.

READING TO MY BUDDY, an easy-reader book for 5-7 year-olds, is a funny, touching story about a lovable dog helping a young reader gain confidence.
