Diane is an accidental writer who decided one day at her kitchen table to write a book. Diane's co-author, and sister Marie Ralbusky, joined in the journey to write a book. They had no idea how to write a book. Marie struggled with spelling, and Diane with finishing. What they both knew was that the book would have a Christian theme, strong female characters, and provide inspiration.
Diane is also an accidental Christian. "Though I was raised Catholic I abandoned my faith for 23 years. During the most difficult time of my life, God was right there waiting for me and I'm now back in Mass almost everyday." Diane's transformational story can be found in "It's a God Thing - Volume 2" right her on Amazon.
"Marie urged me to write this story. I was reluctant and surprised when it was accepted for consideration. My heart broke when I did not make the first edition and convinced me I was not a writer and did not have a story to tell. What a surprise that I can now see my story conversion story "The Wisdom of a Son" and my book Christmas Cures Everything in print. God is good, I just need to be patient with His timing!"
Though not an easy journey Diane learned a whole lot along the way, such as, she loves to write, deadlines are important, guidance from the Spirit is essential and that finishing can be just as exciting as starting.
The book was the start for Diane's writing career. Diane now has a blog, Living Your More (http://www.livingyourmore.com/). Diane's blog continues to focus on how our struggles can transform us to become MORE than we dreamed or believed possible.
"Christmas Cures Everything was a struggle to write. Marie and I wanted something fun for our granddaughters to read. Being led to write a book on a topic that is as controversial as abortion was tough, and I was reluctant. Not to write the book - that part was fun, but to publish it. My concern was what will people think? Well from the reviews, they like the book and find it inspirational and healing."
"What I did know a whole lot about is the real essence of this book. The power of God's love and forgiveness. That is evident by my transformed life. Amazing Grace is my theme song because God really can save a wretch, because He saved me."
