Barry M. White

I am a retired US Army Chaplain and retired United Methodist Church Clergy. I served also in the US Navy right out of high school; was a police officer with the Tampa Police department for three years and a wildlife officer with the Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commission for two years. My hobbies are computing and golf. I thought about writing my book, Destined To Serve, for about five years before beginning the process in 2012. I wrote this book to share the many stories and events I experienced over the years in law enforcement and ministry. Some are exciting, some are sad and heartbreaking and some are funny.
