Desiree Carter

Desiree Carter earned two Bachelors of Science degrees from Wilberforce University, a Master of Divinity and a Masters degree in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Ministry from The Methodist Theological Seminary.

Desiree is an itinerant elder ordained by the United Methodist church. She has been serving them since 1995 and has been serving the community for over 30 years. Today, she currently serves Wagram United Methodist church located in Etna Ohio.

Desiree inspires, educates, and motivates through her messages during Sunday Morning worship, or Wednesday evening bible study. Her ministry often finds her creating community services such as The Free Store, groups for grandparents, parents, children, diabetics and many others. She is a board member of the West Licking County Coalition of Care and functions as a Guardian Ad Litem(volunteer) for The Casa organization in Columbus, Ohio.

Insight Publishing calls her one of America’s leading Christian Speakers. Desiree has written books with Dr. Robert Schuller, Deepak Chopra and many others. She is the co-author of Success is a State of Mind, The Remarkable Women of Faith and Speaking of Faith. Pastor Carter is a member of the National Speakers Association and host Wagram’s radio ministry, DC Speaks.

Desiree is passionate about living her life for Christ, prayer, living a life of faith, caring for the sick, assisting the poor, promoting reconciliation, equipping and teaching others what it means to follow Christ; raising their standards for living.
