Bob Kennedy

My name is Bob Kennedy. My book, My Magic Ears was inspired by my daughter Emeline. She lost her hearing at 11 months from a bout with meningitis. At 13 months, she was bilaterally implanted with cochlear implants. I wrote My Magic Ears not only for Emme, but for any child who has "Magic Ears". I'm hopeful that the book will help "normalize" their situation amongst peers, teachers and for anyone else in their world who has a curiosity about the world of cochlear implants.
