James Cox

James Matthew Cox, Jr. was born and grew up on a farm outside Texarkana Arkansas. Both of his parents encouraged him to read and to enjoy it. After high school he earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Mathematics. He spent many years as a college math and CSCI instructor and, more recently, as an open-source Java developer. During all that time he enjoyed both reading and writing science fiction and he finally decided to actually DO something about it!
