Simon Parry

Dr Simon Parry is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He started his career in the early 1980's working in the London office of E&Y where he specialised in assurance and corporate recovery. Since then he has worked in various accounting and management roles in practice, industry and the public sector and has held academic appointments at several universities.

Over the last 20 years he has taught professional accounting courses for ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CIPD, CIM and IRRV together with academic courses for Business, Accounting and MBA students. He has been the Chief External Examiner for the ACCA, a member of the ICAEW Exam Review Board, and the accounting examiner for the IRRV.

Simon has a passion for motorcycles and splits his time between writing and traveling.
