Cari Sānchez-Potter is the general manager of a community-minded craft brewery, owner of a pop-up event production company, trained gastronomist, founder of a farmers market, award-winning cookbook author, food judge and food writer with a personal mission of fostering a vibrant food, drink and arts culture in Northeast Florida.
As the general manager of Intuition Ale Works, a craft brewery in the Riverside neighborhood of Jacksonville, FL, Cari oversees all marketing, communications, social media, community relations and event planning initiatives. Cari also co-authored the brewery's award-winning cookbook, Cooking with Intuition. Intuition's products are currently distributed in Northern and Central Florida.
Cari is the Owner and Executive Producer of The Legend Series, a quarterly pop-up art and dining series that showcases the best of Northeast Florida's culinary, visual and performing arts in highly unusual locations. Grassroots marketing tactics and the media attention received by The Legend Series have created a buzz among the local creative community and tickets to the events sell out in seconds.
Originally from Northeast Ohio, Cari moved to the First Coast after marrying a Jacksonville native in 2009. She has contributed food articles to a number of local and national publications and has sat on the planning committees for many charitable events. Cari is also a co-founder of the King Street Farmers Market, a weekly local food market in Riverside.
Cari holds a BS in Marketing from Boston College and a MA in Gastronomy from The University of Adelaide / Le Cordon Bleu in South Australia. Her experience living on five different continents has informed her approach to the local cultural initiatives she spearheads.
