Nova M. Edwards

Nova Edwards creates original, historical, and personalized/portrait paper dolls. Her paper dolls have been sold online through Etsy (United States, Canada, and Germany), at craft fairs, including the 2009 Crocker Museum Holiday Art and Craft Festival in Sacramento, CA, and at the Blue Line Arts Gallery in Roseville, CA. Her Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth paper dolls were available for purchase at the “Harriet Tubman: No Longer Underground” Symposium in Auburn, NY, in November 2013. For the 150th Juneteenth Anniversary in June 2015, Ms. Edwards was a presenter at the Sacramento Juneteenth Festival's Education Theater where she sold many of her Juneteenth paper dolls and Harriet Tubman/Sojourner Truth paper dolls. Ms. Edwards has a BA in psychology from California State University, Sacramento.
