Anne Sanders

Anne Sanders was first published as a book reviewer and poet in 1992. She put off professional writing for ten years in lieu of teaching and training, working as a research associate for a consulting firm, and being a mother. She started writing for local newspapers in Florida in 2002 and was picked up as a regular feature writer. Since then she has written for magazines, newspapers, and websites like USA Today's Travel section. Anne blogged for Working Mother Magazine for two years and filled her own Helping Hearts blog with tips and hints on volunteering for three years. Now she is known as the Volunteer and Charity Guru on Facebook and Volunteer Anne on Twitter for her insights and inspiration into the joy of volunteering and helping others. She recently also started an Instagram page called Be_Kind_World where kindness wins!
