David Rifkind

David Rifkind is a Professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Florida. As an architectural historian, he studies urbanism and architecture in Ethiopia from the late nineteenth century to the present and American architecture and landscapes by designers, builders, and clients of African descent. His current book projects include Modern Ethiopia: Architecture, Urbanism, and the Building of a Nation, and Architecture of the African Diaspora in/of the United States.
