Moustafa M. Ahmed received the B.Sc.,Physics, from Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, 1977, the M.Sc. on Biophysics, from Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University, 1983, and the Ph. D. from Faculty of Engineering, Osaka University, Japan, 1989. 2001 -now: Prof. of Medical Biophysics, Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University and 2009-Now :Vice Dean, Faculty of Allied Medical Science, Pharos University in Alexandria His research interests include Medical Instrumentation, Medical ultrasound, Laser therapy, Biological Cell separation using dielectrophoresis and ultrasonic tapping.
